Step 1: Perform the Following Actions on Your Old Smartphone’s Google Authenticator App
1. Open the Google Authenticator app and tap the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner.
2. Select “Transfer accounts”.
3. Choose “Export accounts” and enter your PIN code when prompted.
4. Select the accounts you want to transfer to your new phone, then tap “Next”.
5. The app will generate a QR code. Ensure that your new smartphone has downloaded Google Authenticator and is ready to use.
6. Proceed to transfer the content to the Google Authenticator app on your new smartphone.
Step 2: Perform the Following Actions on Your New Smartphone’s Google Authenticator App
1. Open the Google Authenticator app and tap the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner.
2. Select “Transfer accounts”.
3. Choose “Import accounts”.
4. Tap “Scan QR code”.
5. Scan the QR code displayed on your old phone.
6. Your Google Authenticator transfer is now complete.

How to Transfer Google Authenticator to a New Device Using a Recovery Key?
Step 1: Download the Google Authenticator app on your new device.
Step 2: Open the Google Authenticator app, tap the ”+” icon, and select “Enter a setup key manually”.
Step 3: Enter your Recovery Key in the provided field.
• You can assign any name to the account to help you easily identify it, especially if you have multiple accounts using Google Authenticator.
