Google Authenticator (GA) is an essential security measure for your Biconomy account. If you need to unbind Google Authenticator, follow the steps below. After unbinding, it is highly recommended that you rebind GA as soon as possible to maintain account security.
Step 1: Access the Account Security Page
1. Log in to your Biconomy account and click the Profile Icon in the upper-right corner.
2. From the dropdown menu, select Account & Security to enter the Security Settings page.
Step 2: Unbind Google Authenticator
1. Under the Google Authenticator section, click Unbind.
2. The system will prompt a security verification request.
Step 3: Enter Verification Information to Complete Unbinding
1. Enter your registered phone number and email verification code for identity verification.
2. Enter the current Google Authenticator code.
3. Click Confirm to complete the unbinding process.
Note: For security reasons, withdrawals and transactions will be disabled for 24 hours after unbinding Google Authenticator.
Unbinding Successful!
You will receive a confirmation notification, indicating that Google Authenticator has been successfully removed from your Biconomy account.
Important Reminders:
1. Delete the old GA entry: After unbinding, please remove the previous Biconomy account entry in the Google Authenticator App to avoid confusion when rebinding.
2. Rebind GA immediately: After unbinding, navigate to the Account & Security page to rebind Google Authenticator as soon as possible to ensure account security.
